Better places to go than Boro Bistro

Located on the border of Borough market is Boro Bistro - a French restaurant specialising in charcuterie boards and small plates to share with an extensive wine list. There's a cosy terrace with outside seating available but given the cold weather, we opted for a table inside. Starting off with a bottle of the house... Continue Reading →

Cape Town is a mixture of stunning landscapes - mountainous ranges, beautiful coasts surrounding buzzing streets and not to mention....a culinary haven for foodies and wine lovers! Time to reminisce, the two weeks of bliss…

We opted for Oleo Cancun Playa Boutique Resort, located south of the hotel strip on Zona Hotelera – away from the party area. The guests consisted of mainly couples and although family friendly, there were no kids in sight. That said, it’s also not the kind of place you would pick for a stag/bucks or a hen do. Our room was spacious and modern with a breath-taking ocean view.

M Threadneedle Street

Tucked away in a tiny strip off Threadneedle street, lies this swanky restaurant made for city folk. We enter the large, dimly lit room eagerly anticipating the 4 course meal and free flowing prosecco deal for £37.50 offered through Bookatable. We are seated at our table and our glasses are promptly filled and continues to... Continue Reading →

Spanish summer escape in September

When Adam first suggested Malaga as a holiday destination, I initially thought 'Brits Abroad' and rejected the idea but his research proved me wrong. Staying in the old town meant we were amongst the locals, within walking distance to the nearby beach, close enough to the vast array of restaurants and added bonus; located where...
